No. Hydrogen Peroxide only lightens your hair when it is mixed with another product that has an ammonia or pursulfate base. It takes mixing these two ingredients to cause a chemical reaction to cause lift or lightening.

The absolute only way that Hydrogen Peroxide might give you a little lift, is if you mix it with natural sun shine. Pour it on and hang out at the beach for a day.

Other than that, it's a waste of time. You need to mix it with permanent haircolor or bleach to cause lightening.

I dyed my hair when I was eleven years old with a bottle of peroxide. Right before my mom almost killed me my hair turned brown. I am black with black hair, and it looked like I had a mohawk! The answer is a definite yes but you shouldn't! Peroxide can remove real Hair color from clothes and it lightens other thing s as well, so what do you think will happen to your hair with a chemical in it, if you have a chemical of that is. I also had a jerry curl which is a chemical if that helps any. Note: chemical reaction equals Damage big time!!

Um, no. My advice is to leave hair to the pros. Hydrogen Peroxide is inexpensive, just think about how much it will cost to have the salon fix the mess you have made. I once attempted something similar and 4hrs and 363 dollars later, I learned my lesson.

Yes, you can, but it will damage your hair. I tried it in a bottle on a snip of hair, and by the time it went light, it was able to be pulled apart like taffy. I would definitely not advise it.

although your not suppose use that alone. but if you must then go ahead but add a rinse (a temporary color its less damaging) over it and there you go. don't put another chemical over that for at least a month or when you get up the next morning your hair will still be on your pillow case. remember a rinse is not permanent it last up to 4 to 6 washing. one thing condition your hair after your peroxide to soften and close your pores.

but if its a light color then it will just make it light blonde
