i always die my hair blond but decided to go dark brown this time and i dont suit it at all how do i go blonde again with out my hair falling out it has only been a week ,

Firstly, did you use a demi or permanent colour?

If it has only been a week, there is no problem. Go to your hairdresser and ask them to do a colour correction for you. All it will do is open up the cuticle and push out the darker coloured molecules, returning your hair to the lighter shade it was. It may need to be done twice to remove all of the pigment, but time is definately on your side as it has only been a week.

you definitely need to consult a professional to go from a dark brown to a blonde. If you insist on doing it yourself, use a drabber first to get the red tones out, then you will have to bleach it. Make sure you leave the bleach in long enough because youll only be able to do it once!

You will have to bleach it white and then color it with your blonde die again ..

give it another week if you can and be very careful with the bleach or you could end up like me...

You'll have to go to a hairdressers and get it sorted there...no DIY job unless you want green or orange hair.

you should have started off with just dark streaks first. it may just be the shock of it being so dark that you don't like it.

You don't dye hair blonde, you bleach it! Adding color is dyeing. Go to a great colorist and then leave it alone. Why do people think that they can accomplish what it takes a good stylist years to learn off the back of a box! Do yourself a favor and get help before you are bald. You wouldn't try to operate on yourself would you? Please give the pros a chance.

you need to wait 4weeks and deep condition it 3 times a week till that time. then go to sallys and get 40 volume creme developer pure white is a good brand cost 3.99 for a 16 fl. oz. then pick out your color clairol is ok brand platinum ice is a light color or light neutral blonde. mix the two and apply! put on roots 1st then the rest. need help get ahold of me GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Dye it back, Aweek is after is ok, you've given it time to relax. If your doing it yourself make sure you put a dye on that has a red pigment chestnut brown,look at the colour and see if you can tell if there is a tint of red in It,it doesn't have to be pure red but does need that hint of colour otherwise your hair will go an odd colour some say a tint of green.if so use that one then choose your blonde,try not to do both on the same day.leave it colour a couple of days gap should be ok.I'm always changing my hair and it don't break or fall out but everyone is different,condition it every day so it wont happen.good luck

my hair is naturally browny blonde so i decided to dye it blonde and i suited it but then wanted to see if i suited brown and so i dyed my hair brown and it went a ginger colour ahhh lol i dyed it brown again and my hairs fine just dye it again but i suggest going to a hair dressers coz light to dark hair is easy to dye but dark to light isn't you could turn green

I always dye my hair blonde too. The thing is that every time that I tryed to change the colour and make it darker it always returns to blonde after a couple of weeks. So, you do n't have to do much actually. Wash it a couple of times and dark brown will eventually leave. This happens because blonde hair colour is not really colour. What is does to the hair is permanent decoloration, bleach.

i did exactly the same thing! I dyed mine a dark brown and it didn't suit me at all. I took advice form hairdressers and they said to gradually get it back to blonde so they dyed mine a lghter sandy brown with some bleached streaks. I'm now gradually adding more blonde in everytime i go salon. Now i kinda miss dark hair, it was so shiny! lol :-p

Hi,go %26amp; ask a hairdresser they will see what condition your hair is in.Advice next time try a wash out dye then if you do not like it shampoo it out.Good Luck
