Can you dye your hair twice?

I recently dyed my hair blond, but didn't have enough color to make it as light as I wanted. Can I color over the blond I just did with an even lighter blond?

Can you dye your hair twice?

You can dye it an infinite number of times. Sure, it'll soon fall out and before it does it'll feel like bubblegum, but that wasn't your question.

if you are doing it your self with store bought color i would not do it for at least 2 weeks.if a stylist is doing it then it would probably be fine.

You could, but I'd wait it if I were you. Bringing your hair to a lighter color can really dry it out. I'd suggest you get a highlighting kit instead, or even a bottle of Sun-In, and do subtle highlights to get closer to the look you want. For a while, moisturize your hair with good conditioner, and let your hair have a break. I've been in the position of using hair dye too much (especially brands that include ammonia) and having to chop it all off to stop the breakage. Not a fun place.

before going to the salon wash your hair like 50 times to get some of the color out... then go to a specialist and have them do the rest.. but if the color looks ok on you i would wait a couple weeks so you dont completely damage your hair
