Make dark hair lighter?

I have dark hair, it is brown, almost black and i want to know how i can NATURALY make it a little lighter. I know that lemon works but isn't that with people with lighter har, blond hair?

Hydrogen peroxide, spray it into clean hair a few times a week and slowly you will see progress even with black hair.

Lemon juice would work on dark hair eventually too, it just takes longer.

Vinegar could also do the trick.

There are also certain shampoos that do it too.

Don't use sun in because for a lot of people it makes the hair kind of orange, sometimes extreme orange.

I don't know how professional this idea is, but if i were to be in your place i would do the following:

-Buy 2 spray bottles or use some empty clean ones around the house.

-Fill one up with hydrogen peroxide, one with lemon juice/vinegar.

-Every other day spray one or the other. Hydrogen peroxide smells strange so if you are a girl you could spray perfume too.

umm...i would say try lemon juice cus it mite work on ur hair and sit out in the sun in the summer with a type of hair product that brings out natural highlights

you could use peroxide...and then blow dry your hair (heat) or go outside alot...and that will eventually lighten it...you can actually just put the peroxide in a spray bottle! It worked good for me...my hair is naturally almost black. Good Luck!!

Go out in the sun alot, use lemons, and yeah...those are the only things i can think of to NATURALLY make it lighter. If not, then just buy hair dye :P

i have daark brown hair to! i used to use a spray at walmart you might of heard of it. sun-in. it worked really good and yeah to lemon works. i still do that every now and then.
