about an hour ago i put 2 strips of my hair in lemon juice, went outside for about 30 mins, and my hair is dry and hard with lemon juice still in it. what am i supposed to do now to actually see the difference??? do i shower? do i put more juice in? WHAT NEXT???? ps- i have very very light brown/blond hair

if the colour hasnt changed, add some more juice, if it has, rinse with warm water.

I've never even heard of lemon juice lightening the hair... I assume you should wash it out. Unless you like the juice in there.

i think that you're supposed to wash it out. i have never done this before myself, but my friends have. and of course you won't see results (and the lemon juice will still be in your hair) if it's still in there. if you can't see the results still it's probably because you hair is already light. i hear lemon juice isn't that great for your hair, because of the acid and stuff. maybe you want to try blow drying it? it might speed up the process than just sitting in the sun, i think it's the heat that does it, not light.

you should've gone to walgreens and bought product

even if it works a little, the lemon juice highlights will wash out within a couple weeks

I'd jump in the shower. Years ago I tried a do-it-yourself job and my hair turned orange! If I decide to change colors I'll let the hairdresser do it! Good luck!
