Does thick hair look good short?

I am a teenager and want a hip cut...but I don't no if i want to give up my long tresses if it wont look good. i have really long naturally wavy, blond hair, and do NOT want to have to go thru the trouble of styling it every day...so wat would be a good, short look for thick wavy hair?? THANX SO MUCH

Mm.. thick hair doesn't look good to me if it's above your shoulders. If it's at your shoulders, make sure it has a lot of body and volume. If it's just thick.. a little beneath your shoulder, say 2 inches.

I have thick wavy auburn hair and if you don't want to style your hair every day DO NOT get it cut. I got the same cut as you want to and it is a pain for me to style it every day. Most often when i dont do my hair i end up with what i call "poodle head" and my hair is wider than it is long.

I love the short ,scruffy, spikey look on young people. Curly hair can have strand relaxers applied.

I have the same problem, I have very thick hair. I hate keeping it long. My hair dresser always does my hair in really nice layers. Try getting a layered hair cut, It'll look great.

I think that you should get it cut but not really short and wear it with it's curls but get a product that contains the curles. and some times wear it wild frizzy because that looks good.

I have EXTREMELY thick hair and have always had a pixie cut. And my stylist always says theirs girls coming in asking for my cut. You should look up some online short hair galleries and make sure u go to a really good stylist, they will make all the difference! You should make sure that you REALLY want to cut it off cause it take a long time to grow back. However, I am a huge fan of short hair on girls. I get so tired of seeing the same long blonde hair on every other female. Good Luck!!!
